Prof. James C. M. Hwang
Prof. James C. M. Hwang received the B.S. degree in physics from National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan, in 1970, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in materials science from Cornell University, Ithaca, NY, in 1976 and 1978, respectively. After working with IBM, AT&T, GE, and GAIN, he joined Lehigh University, Bethlehem, PA, in 1988, as a Professor of electrical engineering and Director of the Compound Semiconductor Technology Laboratory. His current research interests include MEMS, microwave and photonic devices and integrated circuits, and bio-electromagnetics.
