Nagender Kumar Suryadevara received his Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur, India in 1996. He earned his Master of Computer Engineering degree in 1998 from Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai, India. In 2011, he joined the Ph.D program at Massey University, New Zealand.
Currently he is researching under the supervision of Dr. Subhas Chandra Mukhopadhyay – Professor of Sensing Technology, School of Engineering and Advanced Technology, Massey University, Palmerston North, New Zealand. He has over 12 years of teaching experience across India, Ethiopia and Oman countries.
His fields of interest include Wireless Sensor Networks, Real-Time Data Mining, Internet of Things and Machine-to-Machine technologies. He has authored/co-authored fifteen articles in different international journals, conferences and book chapters.
He is the recipient of Massey University doctoral scholarship for three years (2011-2014). He has demonstrated consistent success as an administrator and educator at the graduate and post graduate education levels during his teaching career.
