In addition to a pictorial view of the Conference, we present three original articles, based on presentations made in Bio-IT technical sessions, addressing various aspects of resource management in the complex IT environment faced by bio/pharma organizations.

As bio/pharma organizations manage and utilize an increasing number of applications, identity management can become a challenge. In “Identity Management for the Modern World: Enabling Every Company to be a Technology Company”, Phil Heyneker, of Okta, frames the issue and poses a solution.
