Steffen Waldherr

Steffen WaldherrSteffen Waldherr studied Engineering Cybernetics at the University of Stuttgart, Germany, and Applied Mathematics at the INSA Rouen, France. He received a MSc (Dipl.-Ing.) in Engineering Cybernetics in 2005 and a Ph.D. (Dr.-Ing.) in Engineering in 2009, both from the University of Stuttgart, Germany. He has been a research associate at the University of Stuttgart and the Free University of Berlin, Germany. Since March 2013, he is an assistant professor for theory of complex networks at the Otto-von-Guericke-University, Magdeburg, Germany. His research interests focus on systems engineering methods for biomolecular networks and cell-biological systems, including modeling, uncertainty and robustness analysis, optimization, non-linear dynamics, and cell populations models.
