Simon Lin is Director of the Biomedical Informatics Research Center at Marshfield Clinic Research Foundation and he holds the Dr. John Melski Endowed Physician Scientist at Marshfield Clinic. With more than 40 full time employees, the Biomedical Informatics Research Center (BIRC) at the Marshfield Clinic Research Foundation is home to one of the largest clinical based informatics research centers in the United States. A senior member of IEEE, Dr. Lin is the founding chair of the annual CAMDA conference on massive data analysis. He serves on the IHTSDO committee for SNOMED-CT and the NIH Study Section of “Biomedical Computing and Health Informatics”.
